Whip up a batch of perfectly thin flatbread. It only takes an hour and 5 ingredients to end up with a stack of delicious hot breads! These are perfect for serving Sheet Pan Kebabs on.

Prep Time: 5 min

Rest time: 20 min

Cook time: 30 min

Yield: 10 flatbreads

Ingredients

  • 300g all-purpose flour

  • 3 3/4 tsp baking powder

  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 300g plain yogourt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  1. Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl. Add in the yogourt & olive oil. Stir together using the handle of a wooden spoon. Using extra flour for your hands and counter, form the sticky dough into a ball and cover with a tea towel. Let rest for 20min.

  2. Divide the rested dough into 10 even sized pieces.

  3. Place a cast iron pan on the stove at medium-high heat & let it come to temperature.

  4. Using plenty of extra flour, roll each ball of dough into a thin, round sheet.

  5. Transfer to disk of dough to the hot pan and cook until it begins to puff and brown slightly. Flip and cook for an equal amount of time on the other side. All together each bread cooks for about 1-3 min total.

  6. Remove cooked bread to a wire rack to cool and repeat with the remaining dough.

  7. Serve up fresh and hot or cool completely before placing in a sealable bag and storing in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Zhuzh it up!

  • These are perfectly paired with the Sheet Pan Kebabs. Prep the salad and sauce while the dough rests and you'll have dinner on the table in just over an hour!
