A no-fuss meatball recipe that you can throw together and keep warm on your buffet table. Make it with frozen meatballs or your own made from scratch.

Prep Time: 10 min

Cook time: 2 hrs

Yield: approx. 90 cocktail size meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen meatballs - approx. 85-90 small meatballs

  • 1 250mL jar black currant jelly (jelly, not jam. You could also substitute grape jelly.)

  • 1/3 cup ketchup

  • 1/3 cup Sirracha

Directions

  1. Mix together jelly, ketchup and Sirracha. It doesn't need to be smooth - it will all blend as it heats up.

  2. Put frozen meatballs and the sauce in the crockpot. Set to medium heat for 2 hrs.

  3. Stir to combine and keep warm in the crockpot throughout your party.

Zhuzh it up!

  • If you'd rather make your own, our episode guest, Lisa, recommends a turkey meatball. Cook the meatballs in advance and freeze until the day of your party. This is all about making party hosting easy, after all!
